Agricultural Ground-bReaking sOlutions based on roBtics and augmented reality for boOsting sOcial sustainability and competitivenesS while increasing the safeTy of workers

Labour shortages and environmental pressures are major concerns for today’s farmers who are struggling to remain productive and inclusive. With this in mind, the EU-funded AGROBOOST project aims to transform the sector with agro-robotics, artificial intelligence, automation, and augmented reality. The project will particularly help women, young professionals, and farmers with mobility issues. Specifically, it will test new solutions across six European countries, covering tasks such as fruit harvesting and livestock management. AGROBOOST will also create flexible business models, training programmes, and decision-making tools to encourage widespread use. Bringing together science, industry, and social perspectives, the project will build a sustainable, inclusive, and modern future for European agriculture.
