The final demonstration of the NEXUS project, featuring INESC TEC, took place at the Port of Sines, and the Institute’s researchers successfully tested a mobile 5G cell, contributing to an innovative solution in the field of 5G networks.

INESC TEC brought two demonstrations, two workshops and several scientific contributions in communications to Málaga

The Institute took part in the EuCNC & 6G Summit international conference, which took place in Málaga, Spain. Our researchers presented two demonstrations - as part of the European projects CONVERGE and TERRAMETA, both coordinated by INESC TEC-, organised two workshops, presented two scientific papers and a poster, and one researcher also served as co-chair of a conference session.

INESC TEC is developing new AI tools to generate synthetic data for lung cancer diagnosis

The Institute’s researchers involved in the European project Phase IV AI have developed four technologies that pave the way for better diagnosis systems without compromising patient privacy. These Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based tools can generate high-quality synthetic medical images.
