Description

Boosting engagement to increase flexibility

BeFlexible (Boosting Engagement to Increase Flexibility) is an EU H2020 project that aims at increasing the energy system flexibility, enhancing cooperation among DSOs and with TSOs and easing participation of all energy-related actors in the flexibility provision value chain. The methodology is based on 4 conceptual blocks, namely, a) the markets and regulatory analysis and the definition of a flexibility framework for new business opportunities, b) the adaptation and test of a set of services for flexibility and cross-sector solutions for the activities related to flexibility provision, c) the design of an architecture and a specific implementation as the Grid Data and Business Network (GDBN) to provide support to the energy-centric and cross-sector activities of the flexibility provision, and d) the development of strategies for end customers engagement in the flexibility provision.
