INESC TEC wins IN3 + Award

The project IDINA - Inclusive Non-Authoritative Digital Identity, INESC TEC’s High Assurance Software Laboratory (HASLab) is the winner of the IN3 + Award, promoted by the Portuguese Mint and Official Printing Office (INCM), of €600K. The project aims to create an effective and inclusive identification platform open to all citizens, in countries that do not have central identification systems (civil registration infrastructures).

INESC TEC Spin-off awarded €100K to expand clinical trials in patients with Parkinson's disease

The spin-off inSignals Neurotech, dedicated to the development of medical devices for the quantification of motor symptoms of neurodegenerative diseases, in order to obtain better clinical results, received €100K through the INNOV-ID funding call - an initiative promoted by Portugal Ventures, focusing on the measures established by the Government to capitalise Portuguese companies during the pandemic.

INESC TEC researchers contribute to good cloud development practices with article in IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering

The article A Survey on the Adoption of Patterns for Engineering Software for the Cloud, about good practices on systems development in the Cloud, was recently published in IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, one of the most prestigious international journals in the field of Software Engineering. The authors, Tiago Boldt Sousa, Hugo Sereno Ferreira, and Filipe Correia, are both INESC TEC researchers and lecturers at FEUP.
