Abstract
The objective of this paper is to examine the impact of dynamic capabilities (DCs) on competitiveness and performance of companies, considering the mediating role played by marketing capabilities (MCs) and innovation capabilities (ICs). The investigation of these effects is performed considering the moderating role of ambidexterity on the proposed relationships. This investigation advances a theoretical model tested using structural equation modelling (SEM). A 90-item questionnaire exploring the relationships between DCs and marketing and innovation was developed, and a total of 387 valid questionnaires were collected from a sample of Portuguese enterprises. The results show the existence of a positive direct and indirect influence of DCs on competitive advantage and performance variables as well as a direct impact on MCs and ICs. This study contributes to filling the gap in the existing research on the direct impact of DC's variables on competitive advantage and performance by considering mediating role of MCs and ICs.

Abstract
The IVY workbench is a model checking based tool for the analysis of interactive system designs. Experience shows that there is a need to complement the analytic power of model checking with support for model validation and analysis of verification results. Animation of the model provides this support by allowing iterative exploration of its behaviour. This paper introduces a new model animation plugin for the IVY workbench. The plugin (AniMAL) complements the modelling and verification capabilities of IVY by providing users with the possibility to interact directly with the model.

Abstract
This paper analyses the internationalisation of SMEs highlighting the importance of social network analysis (SNA) to display the main categories involved in SME internationalisation research. Methodologically, the paper uses a systematic review of the literature as a departure point to select the main papers on the internationalisation of SMEs and uses SNA to illustrate the main categories that have been used by researchers to identify how sectoral studies (manufacturing vs. service firms and single vs. multiple industry) have evolved and to identify the geographical origins of the papers carried out on SME internationalisation. This study is useful for researchers and academic community alike as it embeds the three main categories found (internationalisation theories, international strategy and performance) using SNA methodology.

Abstract
The data volume in organizations has grown at an ever-increasing rate and part of it is associated with the operation of the network infrastructure used to support systems and applications. Given the importance of this infrastructure for organizations and the large amount of data that their operation originates, it is fundamental to manage and monitor it so that it can perform well. The previous concern is transversal to higher education institutions, where the research team assumed as important the development of a BI/SSBI system for the Informatics and Communications Services of the institution where it operates (UTAD), which allows the managing of all data volume; that enables it to be transformed into information and knowledge, which are fundamental resources to support decision-making processes. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the usefulness of a BI/SSBI system in the described context, therefore a system of this type is presented, along with the adopted technologies, the performed tests and the obtained results. © 2018, Springer International Publishing AG, part of Springer Nature.
