Abstract
The aim of this paper is to propose a recommendation system that considers users functionality levels regarding physical or psychological limitations. This paper describes a set of models and algorithms used under a tourism recommendation system based in users and points-of-interest (POI) profiles. Also, this proposal considers a different manner to classify POI including their accessibility levels, mapped with similar physical and psychological issues. In this study, based on the Design Science Research methodology, an architecture is proposed and a touristic recommendation system prototype where users are modelled with new types of information in addition to traditional approaches such as their levels of functionality regarding a set of physical and intellectual issues, is also presented. POIs are also modelled with the same information structure and maintain knowledge on their limitations against some health conditions.

Abstract
A robust method is presented for evaluating the diffusion properties of chemicals in ex vivo biological tissues. Using this method that relies only on thickness and collimated transmittance measurements, the diffusion properties of glycerol, fructose, polypropylene glycol and water in muscle tissues were evaluated. Amongst other results, the diffusion coefficient of glycerol in colorectal muscle was estimated with a value of 3.3 x 10(-7) cm(2)/s. Due to the robustness and simplicity of the method, it can be used in other fields of biomedical engineering, namely in organ cryoprotection and food industry.

Abstract
In obstructive sleep apnea, respiratory effort is maintained but ventilation decreases/disappears due to upper-airway partial/total occlusion. This condition affects about 4% of men and 2% of women worldwide. This study aimed to define an auxiliary diagnostic method that can support the decision to perform polysomnography, based on risk and diagnostic factors. Our sample performed polysomnography between January and May 2015. Two Bayesian classifiers were used to build the models: Naïve Bayes and Tree Augmented Naïve Bayes, using 38 variables identified by literature review or just a selection of 6. Area under the ROC curve, sensitivity, specificity and predictive values were evaluated using leave-one-out and cross-validation techniques. From a total of 241 patients, only 194 fulfilled the inclusion criteria, 123 (63%) were male, with a mean age of 58 years, 66 (34%) patients had a normal result and 128 (66%) a diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea. The cross-validated AUCs for each model were: NB38: 69.2%; TAN38: 69.0%; NB6: 74.6% and TAN6: 63.6%. Regarding risk matrix, female gender presented a starting rate of 8%, comparing to 20% in male gender, almost 3 times higher. The high (34%) proportion of normal results confirms the need for a pre-evaluation prior to polysomnography, making the search for a validated model to screen patients with suspicion of obstructive sleep apnea essential, especially at primary care level.

Abstract
The rapidly increasing penetration of electric vehicles in modern metropolises has been witnessed during the past decade, inspired by financial subsidies as well as public awareness of climate change and environment protection. Integrating charging facilities, especially high-power chargers in fast charging stations, into power distribution systems remarkably alters the traditional load flow pattern, and thus imposes great challenges on the operation of distribution network in which controllable resources are rare. On the other hand, provided with appropriate incentives, the energy storage capability of electric vehicle offers a unique opportunity to facilitate the integration of distributed wind and solar power generation into power distribution system. The above trends call for thorough investigation and research on the interdependence between transportation system and power distribution system. This paper conducts a comprehensive survey on this line of research. The basic models of transportation system and power distribution system are introduced, especially the user equilibrium model, which describes the vehicular flow on each road segment and is not familiar to the readers in power system community. The modelling of interdependence across thetwo systems is highlighted. Taking into account such interdependence, applications ranging from long-term planning to short-term operation are reviewed with emphasis on comparing the description of traffic-power interdependence. Finally, an outlook of prospective directions and key technologies in future research is summarized.
