Abstract
There is an increasing number of mobile robot applications. The demanding of the Industry 4.0 pushes the robotic areas in the direction of the decision. The autonomous robots should actually decide the path according to the dynamic environment. In some cases, time requirements must also be attended and require fast path planning methods. This paper addresses a comparison between well-known path planning methods using a realistic simulator that handles the dynamic properties of robot models including sensors. The methodology is implemented in SimTwo that allows to compare the A* and RRT* algorithms in different scenarios with dynamic and real time constraint scenarios. Copyright

Abstract
The emergence and popularization of online social networks suddenly made available a large amount of data from social organization, interaction and human behavior. All this information opens new perspectives and challenges to the study of social systems, being of interest to many fields. Although most online social networks are recent, a vast amount of scientific papers was already published on this topic, dealing with a broad range of analytical methods and applications. Therefore, the development of a tool capable of gather tailored information from social networks is something that can help a lot of researchers on their work, especially in the area of Natural Language Processing (NLP). Nowadays, the daily base medium where people use more often text language lays precisely on social networks. Therefore, the ubiquitous crawling of social networks is of the utmost importance for researchers. Such a tool will allow the researcher to get the relevant needed information, allowing a faster research in what really matters, without loosing time on the development of his own crawler. In this paper, we present an extensive analysis of the existing social networks and their APIs, and also describe the conception and design of a social network crawler which will help NLP researchers. © 2019 Association for Computing Machinery.

Abstract
Smart Governence as its roots in e-government, in the principles of good governance, and in the assumptions of citizens' participation and involvement in public decision-making and is considered one of the six main characteristics of smart cities. The present investigation was intended to answer the question: 'What smart governance practices are being implemented in European smart cities' through an extensive literature review and content analysis of the websites of six European smart cities: Amsterdam; Barcelona; Copenhagen; Lisbon; Manchester and Stockholm. The objective was to identify the presence of factors related with eparticipation; e-services; and the functioning of local public administration on the city's websites. It was concluded that all the smart cities analyzed presented some factors related with smart governance, but with different levels of development and application. © 2019 AISTI.

AO4ELT 2019 - Proceedings 6th Adaptive Optics for Extremely Large Telescopes
Abstract
We present the status and plans for the Keck All sky Precision Adaptive optics (KAPA) program. The program includes four key science projects, an upgrade to the Keck I laser guide star (LGS) adaptive optics (AO) facility to improve image quality and sky coverage, AO telemetry based point spread function (PSF) estimates for all science exposures, and an educational component focused on broadening the participation of women and underrepresented groups in instrumentation. All of these elements have pathfinder relevance for the ELTs. For the purpose of this conference we will focus on the AO facility upgrade which includes implementation of a new laser, wavefront sensor and real-time controller to support laser tomography, the laser tomography system itself, and modifications to an existing near-infrared tip-tilt sensor to support multiple natural guide star (NGS) and focus measurements.

Abstract
According to the literature students have difficulty in publishing academic autoethnographic stories, and it is our objective to provide advice in order to change this. Autoethnography is a qualitative research approach which is self-reflective and which seeks to address social issues with which the author comes into contact. This study is about the experience of the authors and one personal experience in the study focuses on a holiday trip to Australia, in 2017, and on certain events that warranted documenting during that trip, including events that took place with locals. Another (very different) personal experience involves the reflections of a concert violinist and his teachings. How may one avoid injury in violin players right from the outset of the learning process? What is the role of the equipment used? An objective of the study is to get major research publications to view autoethnography with different eyes. Brainstorming sessions were held in Master's degree and PhD classes on research methodology to help shed light on this issue and the results show that students are interested in autoethnography and do consider it a worthwhile academic research endeavor. An alternative of course is to do traditional research, as one set of reviewers for a journal stated to the lead author, involving questionnaires and interviews and focus groups. What is argued, however, is that an enriching personal experience is worth communicating and understanding, in depth, and in more theoretical terms, if it is seen to benefit communities at large and if lessons may be learned. Academia may have some trouble in making autoethnography a mainstream method, as some authors have stated. Looking at events as an outsider, from our own “cultural window”, from a different context, and narrating what one observes to be different, is essential if one wants to publish worthwhile autoethnographic research accounts. Autoethnography questions cultural assumptions, behaviours and values. Note that specific target audiences should be considered as what is normal in one environment may not be in the next, and here lies the power of autoethnography - in its being able to capture the difference.
