Abstract
Digital Marketing is a decisive advantage for the business strategy of the hotel sector. Besides being a powerful tool for implementing tourism marketing actions and policies also enables the monitoring and measurement of results; helping to keep them at a level of effectiveness and success or to improve them. Digital Marketing can also be a strong ally in combating unforeseen economic crises in the hotel sector, as is the case of the current situation that we are experiencing caused by COVID-19. In this article, the Digital Marketing strategy implemented by HSL from the point of view of the digital consumer will be analyzed, through an exploratory analysis of its website, online booking platforms, social networks and how these digital tools have helped HSL throughout the pandemic. Abstract
Based on an exploratory research, this study highlights the role of pure rural entrepreneurship towards rural development of an inland and mountainous area of Portugal-Montemuro. Thanks to the Institute of Cultural Affairs and the energy of the rural communities, some people of the rural area have been stimulated thirty years ago to develop endogenous, entrepreneurial and innovative initiatives in the countryside. The benefits of all these rural entrepreneurial and endogenous initiatives are visible nowadays. Some villages of the rural area have more people, socio-economic dynamics were revitalized, and some job opportunities were created. Therefore, in a context of depopulation and crisis of peripheral and interior areas, our study demonstrates that rural entrepreneurship and innovation based on endogenous resources are key for the welfare of the rural society.

Abstract
Achieving a new generation of enhanced sensors requires the development of structures that result from the fusion of different concepts and effects. In this paper, we combine a special strain sensing structure with an optical sensitivity magnification, through harmonics of the Vernier effect. The recently demonstrated harmonics of the Vernier effect result from increasing the optical path length (OPL) of one of two interferometers by multiple times the OPL of the other interferometer. The effect generates higher magnification factors, proportional to the order of the harmonics. The sensing structure is demonstrated for strain and temperature discrimination, allowing compensation for temperature fluctuations. We explore the complex case of the optical Vernier effect in series, where both interferometers are used as sensing interferometers (no reference interferometer is used). Our results also suggest that the magnification enhancement provided by harmonics of the Vernier effect for a configuration in series is the same as for a configuration in parallel: the magnification factor increases proportionally to the order of the harmonics.

Abstract
Multiple factors can affect presence in virtual environments, such as the number of human senses engaged in a given experience or the extent to which the virtual experience is credible. The purpose of the present work is to study how the inclusion of credible multisensory stimuli affects the sense of presence, namely, through the use of wind, passive haptics, vibration, and scent. Our sample consisted of 37 participants (27 men and 10 women) whose ages ranged from 17 to 44 years old and were mostly students. The participants were divided randomly into 3 groups: Control Scenario (visual and auditory - N = 12), Passive Haptic Scenario (visual, auditory, and passive haptic - N = 13) and Multisensory Scenario (visual, auditory, wind, passive haptic, vibration, and scent - N = 12). The results indicated a significant increase in the involvement subscale when all multisensory stimuli were delivered. We found a trend where the use of passive haptics by itself has a positive impact on presence, which should be the subject of further work.

Abstract
Cloud Computing services for data analytics are increasingly being sought by companies to extract value from large quantities of information. However, processing data from individuals and companies in third-party infrastructures raises several privacy concerns. To this end, different secure analytics techniques and systems have recently emerged. These initial proposals leverage specific cryptographic primitives lacking generality and thus having their application restricted to particular application scenarios. In this work, we contribute to this thriving body of knowledge by combining two complementary approaches to process sensitive data. We present SafeSpark, a secure data analytics framework that enables the combination of different cryptographic processing techniques with hardware-based protected environments for privacy-preserving data storage and processing. SafeSpark is modular and extensible therefore adapting to data analytics applications with different performance, security and functionality requirements. We have implemented a SafeSpark’s prototype based on Spark SQL and Intel SGX hardware. It has been evaluated with the TPC-DS Benchmark under three scenarios using different cryptographic primitives and secure hardware configurations. These scenarios provide a particular set of security guarantees and yield distinct performance impact, with overheads ranging from as low as 10% to an acceptable 300% when compared to an insecure vanilla deployment of Apache Spark. © IFIP International Federation for Information Processing 2020.
