Resilient Industry Supply Chain Enhancement for SMEs

Supply chain vulnerabilities threaten the very backbone of businesses, leaving companies exposed to disruptions that can have lasting effects. Recognising this pressing issue, the EU-funded RISE-SME project emerges as a beacon of innovation. This initiative seeks to empower small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by developing a robust model capable of detecting and anticipating disruptions in their supply chains. Specifically, project activities encompass mapping existing ecosystems, developing disruption detection methodologies, scouting advanced technologies, and fostering alliances between tech-savvy and traditional SMEs. With a consortium leveraging supply chain expertise and collaborating with key actors, RISE-SME ensures a comprehensive exploration of advanced technologies, from robotics to blockchain, paving the way for adaptable and agile SME supply chains.
