A catalyst for EuropeaN ClOUd Services in the era of data spaces, high-performance and edge computing

The EU-funded NOUS project aims to build the architecture for an exclusively European cloud ecosystem that enables the use of computational and data storage resources from edge devices and supercomputers through high-performance and quantum computing networks. The resulting platform-as-a-service cloud provider will leverage edge computing and decentralisation models, providing interoperability among a range of devices and high-volume data processing. The pipeline will feature computational components to process data, edge components to communicate with edge devices, and data storage components to manage and store data. The project will test and validate its developed technologies in four designated use cases that reflect real-world industry scenarios.
