Work description
The plan includes the following main activities: Development of perception modules: Creation and implementation of modules for perception and identification of electronic components in end-of-life products. This work will involve the integration of different technologies, such as 2D and 3D cameras, sensors, computer vision algorithms, and neural networks for object recognition. Development of artificial intelligence algorithms: Creation of algorithms for identification, location, and separation of components, and adaptation to different types of electronic waste. Integration with collaborative robotic systems: Development and implementation of interfaces between the perception modules and the manipulator robots, focusing on picking, disassembly, and automatic separation of waste. Testing and validation in a controlled environment: Conducting tests to validate the solutions developed in a laboratory environment, including the evaluation of accuracy, performance, and robustness of the technologies implemented in electronic waste decommissioning tasks. Preparation of technical reports and participation in progress meetings: Detailed documentation of progress made, problems encountered and solutions developed, with participation in periodic meetings to align project development with established objectives.
