Work description
- Integration of the bathymetry sensor into the computational payload of the autonomous aerial vehicle; - Exploration of the SDK provided by the manufacturer and development of a graphical interface for visualizing information in real-time; - Performing sensor fusion (GPS/IMU) and georeferencing of the point cloud from the bathymetry system; - Conducting preliminary flight tests in the offshore zone; - Exercising critical thinking in evaluating the research process and the results obtained.
Academic Qualifications
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Bioengineering, or related field.
Minimum profile required
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Preference factors
Proven experience in point cloud processing and software module development using the ROS framework. Prior knowledge of Deep Learning techniques for point cloud processing. Participation in scientific projects and writing scientific papers.
