Work description
Review of the state of the art in robotic perception and manipulation of flexible objects; Deployment and evaluation of existing solutions; Creation of datasets in simulated and real environments; Training of AI models for robotic control and manipulation, including Reinforcement Learning and Programming by Demonstration; Validation in a laboratory environment and pilot demonstrator.
Academic Qualifications
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related fields.
Minimum profile required
PhD student;Experience in developing computer vision and manipulation/grasping algorithms for automation and/or industrial robotics applications through R&D projects, company internships, or professional experience;Experience with ISAAC SIM/LAB, ManiSkill, Gazebo, or Mujoco.Experience in the following programming languages: Python and C++.Experience with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, and similar) and the use of AI models.Experience in training AI models for robotics or computer vision applied to flexible object manipulation problems;Participation in research projects in robotics and artificial intelligence;Knowledge of ROS2;
