Work description

It is intended to analyze the performance of optimization methods based on Swarm Intelligence when applied to the problem of task allocation to a fleet of mobile robots, taking into account the estimation of possible conflicts of shared resources and their resolutions.

Academic Qualifications

Enrollment in a Master's course in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related areas. The attribution of the scholarship presupposes that the candidate is a student of a cycle of studies or of a non-degree-conferring course taught at a Higher Education Institution.

Minimum profile required

The candidate must be enrolled in a Master's courseExperience in C/C++ programmingExperience in the ROS framework.

Preference factors

Previous experience with graph-based path planning algorithms. Previous experience in the use of mobile multi-robot coordination systems based on the TEA* algorithm.
