Work description
The work plan is focuses on the benchmarking of European education systems using frontier methods. A temporal analysis of trends in the performance of education systems will be carried out, considering the dimensions of efficiency, effectiveness, and equity. The models to be developed, based on Data Envelopment Analysis and/or Stochastic Frontier Analysis, can be complemented by statistical techniques in order to obtain robust metrics that can support the design of public policies to improve performance in the Education Sector.
Academic Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering and Management or similar areas.
Minimum profile required
Publication of 10 articles in journals ranked in the First Quartile in Scopus.
Preference factors
- Research experience in the area of Performance Evaluation with Frontier Methods; - Publication of articles in the area of Data Envelopment Analysis; - Participation in R&D projects in an area relevant for the work plan to be executed.
