Work description
- Study of the state of the art in methods for controlling and integrating CGRA, and flows for extending RISC-V colors with custom instructions; - Develop a set of instructions suitable for controlling the configuration and execution of the coprocessor, and adapt a coprocessor design or simulator to be able to consume these instructions; - Development of the code generator: translation of CGRA mappings into custom RISC-V instruction sequences or equivalent configuration flows. - Demonstrate accelerated code execution functionality on the co-processor, via the integration of control based on the custom instructions developed; - Collaboration in writing scientific articles to disseminate results.
Academic Qualifications
- Enrolment in Licenciatura or MSc in in Informatics Engineering, or similar.
Minimum profile required
- experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence- programming experience in C/C++ language- English fluency (written and spoken)
Preference factors
- Experience in RISC-V and hardware design - Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
