Computer Perception and Vision
Work description
Automated feeding of different types of parts in industrial environments requires advanced visual perception and artificial intelligence systems. The challenge lies in developing systems capable of: Detecting, locating, and estimating the orientation of parts for robotic handling Visually inspecting parts and identifying defects or nonconformities Identifying gripping points and supporting separation, redistribution, and rejection operations Ensuring robust operation with different geometries, materials, and operating conditions
