Description

Multimodal Telepresence in Support of Online Inclusive Distance Arts Education and Training

The last decade has seen a profusion of easy-to-use technologies that allow average users to seamlessly create high-quality audio-visual content. The goal of the project was to develop smart, simple, interactive technologies to improve access to high-level audio-visual content creation, providing better tools to be used in artistic, educational and assisted living applications. Media Arts and Technology (MAT) combines emerging media, computer science, engineering, and electronic music and digital art research, practice, production, and theory. This relatively new field of inquiry focuses on cultural content and its integration with the most recent Information and Communication Technologies.
