Multi-Symbiotic InterOperable Model for AI-optimized sustainable Wastewater Treatment Plant

Climate change refers to long-term changes in the earth's weather patterns. The consequences of these changes, which are already a reality in many parts of the world, will likely worsen in the coming years. By the end of 2022, the world's population had reached 8 billion people, and average water consumption, currently estimated at 4600 km3 after an eightfold increase in the last century, is still expected to grow by between 20% and 30% by 2050. It is estimated that, by 2050, between 1.693-2.373 billion people will suffer from water scarcity problems in large cities. To help solve the issues related to water scarcity, the water used in human activities must be treated so that it can be reused or returned to nature without presenting risks. To achieve the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6, established by the United Nations, which guarantees the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all by 2030, the efficient and sustainable management of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) is fundamental.
