Work description
This work plan focuses on the use of co-creation and participatory design methodologies to develop solutions in the field of human-computer interaction, including the design of new human-machine interfaces, as well as interactive and gamified solutions in extended reality and immersive virtual environments. Planned activities include coordinating and carrying out R&D projects and knowledge transfer initiatives, preparing R&D project proposals, managing teams and mentoring junior researchers, producing scientific output for international journals and conferences, engaging with scientific and professional communities, as well as coordinating and participating in scientific and technological outreach initiatives.
Academic Qualifications
Multimedia, Digital Media, or a related scientific field, and have an academic and professional background that demonstrates a profile suitable for the position.
Minimum profile required
Ph.D. holders with postdoctoral experience or a strong scientific background, with a proven track record of work consistent with the category of junior researcher, in identifying needs and designing interfaces and interaction solutions, with an emphasis on extended reality and immersive virtual environments.The candidate must be the lead author of at least three Q1 publications in the field covered by the call for applications
Preference factors
Participation in research and development projects in which you have been involved in requirements analysis and the design of interfaces and interaction solutions for extended reality and immersive virtual environments - Experience in a coordinating role within these projects; - Experience in developing activities using collaborative and gamified approaches; - Experience in developing participatory design activities, particularly in the field of digital games.
