Work description
- Identification of control and protection requirements for distribution networks; - Distributed energy resources modelling for network studies; - Short-circuit simulation and protection coordination studies; - Development smart grid tools for distribution networks with high integration of distributed energy resources; - Application integration and testing in HIL laboratory infrastructure.
Academic Qualifications
Master in electrical and computer engineering; power systems and other related areas
Minimum profile required
- Experience on the development of methodologies for coordination of protection devices;- Experience on short-circuit studies considering the modelling of distributed energy resources;- Modelling and simulation software (Matlab Simulink, etc.);- Programming experience (Matlab, Python, etc.).
Preference factors
- Experience in optimization algorithms and meta-heuristics; - Experience in power system protection related projects; - Fluency in English (spoken and written).
