Work description

- Development of simulation software for integration into digital twins of autonomous systems. - Development of a ROS-based sensing and perception system using heterogeneous sensors for integration into a digital twin. - Participation in experimental testing, simulations, and validation of the developed solutions, including validation on real robotic platforms where applicable. - Production of technical and scientific documentation, including reports and scientific papers, and support for the dissemination of project results. - Monitoring and support for project management.

Academic Qualifications

Holder of a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in autonomous systems, and currently enrolled in a doctoral program.

Minimum profile required

- Master's degree average above 16;- Participation in scientific projects;- Authorship of scientific documents (at least three);

Preference factors

- Prior experience in software development and integration for robotic systems using ROS/ROS 2, including simulation environments such as Gazebo, Unity, and Isaac SIM; - Proficiency in programming languages—specifically C, C++, and Python—applied to the development of robotic and autonomous systems; - Prior experience in computer vision and image processing using OpenCV, including object detection and tracking, as well as optical character recognition; - Experience in developing simulation software with hardware-in-the-loop capabilities; - Experience in collecting sensor data from autonomous systems during field tests; - Experience in developing digital twins for autonomous systems.
