Work description

- Develop and customize the specific aerial vehicle; - Integrate the sensor payload into an autonomous aerial vehicle; - Develop software to enable target acquisition and detection using a gimbal; - Implement algorithms within the ROS and ZENOH frameworks; - Critically evaluate the research process and the results obtained; - Disseminate results and publish scientific papers based on the work performed.

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Minimum profile required

• Hold a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.• Have research experience with scientific publications.• Show an aptitude for experimental/laboratory work.• Be open to new research challenges.• Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.• Show an aptitude for writing scientific papers.

Preference factors

Prior experience in software development using the ROS 1 and 2 frameworks, autonomous aerial vehicle development, autopilot systems (PX4), and the development of perception and navigation algorithms in ROS. Experience in 3D CAD tool development.
