Work description

Study and development of automatic classification methods and algorithms and underwater image analysis for species identification, and quantification of relevant ecosystem parameters; • Implementation of the developed solutions and performance of validation tests in an operationally relevant environment; • Production of technical documentation and scientific articles.

Academic Qualifications

Master's student in Electrical Engineering or related field. Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum profile required

Knowledge of mobile roboticsExperience in Linux and ROS 1 and 2 environmentsExperience in C and C++ programming.Currently pursuing a master's degree in robotics and autonomous systems.

Experience in development and research activities within the context of scientific research projects Experience with underwater robotic and sensory systems Experience with automatic detection and classification algorithms Implementation and development of embedded systems
