Mobile applications in Biomedical Engineering with Wearables integration

Work description

Familiarization with the area of mobile applications in biomedical engineering, as well as the functioning of the wearable devices to be used. Design, validation and implementation of an application to capture data from wearable devices in a hospital environment. Interaction with clinical teams in order to validate and improve the application. Preparing work-related presentations, as well as creating the necessary documentation and tutorials for using the application.

Academic Qualifications

The candidate must be a Master's student or have a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.

Minimum profile required

Good knowledge and experience in the development of mobile applications in Android Studio, as well as familiarity with the integration of wearable devices in the health area through Bluetooth in Android applications. The candidate should already have knowledge in code version control systems (GitHub, GitLab)

Preference factors

Past experience in the development and testing of mobile applications in Android Studio in the area of biomedical engineering with integration of wearable devices with bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy (GATT protocol) with acquisition of continuous vital signs.
