Work description
The candidate will join a team dedicated to strengthening the national microelectronics/electronics ecosystem. The work will involve streamlining training initiatives, analyzing the needs of the business sector, and collaborating with academic institutions. It will also assess the needs of the electronics industry for complementary services. Main responsibilities include participating in or leading the streamlining of the following aspects: - Surveying and analyzing the training and service needs of Portuguese companies in the sector. - Contributing to the promotion of an academic-industry network for qualifications in the sector. - Collaborating with public agencies and liaising with relevant European initiatives. - Developing a medium-term growth strategy for microelectronics/electronics within the institution.
Academic Qualifications
Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Management Engineering.
Minimum profile required
Strong knowledge of management and electrical engineering, particularly electronics. Fluent in written and spoken Portuguese and English. Must have a Portuguese driver's license. Willingness to travel.
Preference factors
Experience interacting with companies in the microelectronics/electronics sector. Experience participating in funded electronic engineering projects and organizing training in this field. Familiarity with public policies in the field of science and technology and related fields.
