Work description

The work plan includes the integrated set of activities: development, integration, and validation of a simulation pipeline for quantum topological photonics; computational study of quantum light transport in topological materials; modelling and optimization of a quantum topological photonic waveguide; technical documentation of the pipeline, preparation of scientific reports, and support in defining the roadmap for the continuation of the project.

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering Physics, Physics, or related fields.

Minimum profile required

- Bachelor’s degree average in Physics, Engineering Physics (or related fields) of 14 or above;- Strong knowledge of Electromagnetism and Quantum Optics;- Solid background in scientific programming, numerical methods, and computational physics;- Programming experience in Python;- Experience in at least one of the following: QuTiP, Qiskit, Dolfinx;- Fluency in written and spoken Portuguese and English.

Preference factors

In descending order of preference: - knowledge and experience in theoretical and computational models of quantum optical systems; - experience in scientific computing in HPC environments.
