[Open soon]

Work description

Study and identify state-of-the-art solutions for object detection and manipulation, with a view to application in mobile manipulators, exploring single- or dual-arm configurations. Develop control, planning, and estimation algorithms for pick-and-place tasks of unknown objects, using computer vision (2D and/or 3D images) and AI models (CNN, VLA, RL, World Models architectures, among others). Evaluate One-Shot and Zero-Shot strategies for robotic selection. Write technical and scientific reports and articles. Implement in simulation, validate in a real robot, and integrate into an industrial production line.

Academic Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering; Master's degree in Computer Science; Master's degree in AI; Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields.
