Work description

The objectives of this work and training plan essentially focus on the development of an application for printing (eg inkjet printing) roboticized in complex 3D geometries focused on the following tasks: (i) visualization of 3D models in the application based on a scan file 3D of the product on which the printing will be performed, (ii) projection / mapping of the theoretical model on the 3D surface of the object, (iii) user interface of the application, and (iv) generation of points and guidelines for a robotic manipulator to continue having in view of printing in 3D geometries.

Academic Qualifications

Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar areas.

Minimum profile required

The candidate must be registered in a Master's course.Experience in C/C++ programming.

Preference factors

Robotics knowledge Previous experience developing interfaces using Qt Previous experience developing software using the OpenGL API Previous experience in research projects in robotics, associated sensors and programming in Lazarus. Participation in extra-curricular activities related to robotics is valued.
