Work description
- Detailed study of the different consumption data available in a Green Port; - Detailed analysis of the available data, and complement of the data sets with scenario generation tools. This includes the identification and analysis of consumption patterns of the activities within the port; - Use of forecasting techniques for the forecasting of load and renewable production at different time-scales (e.g., from a few days-ahead to near real-time); - Preparation of the developed tools for their integration into the energy management and technical grid operation modules; - Write the scholarship activity report and a scientific paper.
Academic Qualifications
Background in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar.
Minimum profile required
- Expertise in a programming language;- Basic knowledge of data analysis;- Basic knowledge of forecasting models.
Preference factors
Experience in Python; Experience in pattern recognition and forecasting models; Experience in data analytics; Fluency in English (spoken and written).
