Work description
1. Design of unit cell suitable for the phase control based on the use of a PIN diode, in the frequency range of 3 GHz, and subsequent validation in 3D electromagnetic simulation. 2. Design of unit cell suitable for the phase control based on the use of a PIN diode, in the frequency range of 28 GHz, and subsequent validation in 3D electromagnetic simulation. 3. Development of unit cell prototypes, fabrication and experimental validation. 4. Scaling of the design to array configuration. 5. Prepare the submission of a scientific paper.
Academic Qualifications
MSc in Electrical Engineering, or similar
Minimum profile required
- First author of 1 scientific paper in the area of antenna design. Experience with the conduction of experimental antenna measurements.
Preference factors
- Experience with 3D electromagnetic simulation tools; experience in the design of antenna arrays.
