Work description
1. Study of previous works involving the use of PIN diodes in reconfigurable reflective antenna applications. 2. Design of unit cell suitable for the phase control with two diodes (4 states) in the frequency range of 100 GHz, and subsequent validation in 3D electromagnetic simulation. 3. Development of unit cell prototype, fabrication and experimental validation. 4. Scaling of the design to array configuration. 5. Prepare the submission of a scientific paper. 6. Write the grant activities report.
Academic Qualifications
MSc in Electrical Engineering, or similar.
Minimum profile required
- First author of 1 scientific paper in the area of antenna design, in an international conference of reference in the area. Experience with 3D electromagnetic simulation tools.
Preference factors
- Experience in the experimental characterization of RF devices. Previous publications in the field of antenna design.
