Work description
The work focuses on the research and development of a novel intelligent multi-technology wireless communications solution for maritime environments, capable of managing two or more existing links between two communicating nodes. The solution will leverage artificial intelligence techniques to select the most suitable communication link(s) according to the communication context.
Academic Qualifications
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with valorization in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and have a scientific and professional CV that demonstrates a suitable profile for the activities to be carried out.
Minimum profile required
- Knowledge of communication networks and the TCP/IP protocol stack- Proven experience in research and development in the relevant field of work- Knowledge of AI and convolutional neural networks (CNNs)
Preference factors
Management of multiple communication links using multipath techniques at the transport layer of the TCP/IP stack.
