Work description
1. Study of S-parameters measurement with VNA equipment. 2. Simulation of RF electronics for the portable VNA. 3. Electronic circuit layout in CAD software. 4. Circuit implementation and testing. 5. Integration of the system with a resonant cavity. 6. Characterisation of the complete dielectric properties measurement system. 7. Calibration of the resonant cavity by comparing it with a reference method. 8. Validation of the measurement method. 9. Prepare the submission of a scientific article. 10. Write the scholarship activity report.
Academic Qualifications
- BSc in Electrical Engineering or similar; enrollment in the Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Minimum profile required
- Knowledge in electronics and electromagnetic waves, acquired through relevant coursework
Preference factors
- Experience in RF/microwave electronics and PCB design. - Participation in extracurricular activities involving practical electronic projects.
