Work description

- Development of new mathematical programming models for the 2D rectangular C&P, integrating waste minimization and pattern complexity. - Development of indicators for measuring the impact pattern complexity for 2D rectangular C&P. - Development of new resolution methods, based on advanced hybridization techniques between mathematical programming optimization and algorithmic optimization (matheuristics).

Academic Qualifications

Master in Industrial Engineering, Informatics, Computer Science or related area.

Minimum profile required

Experience in the following skill(s):- Programming in C++, Python;- analysis and development of optimization models;Ability to work in group, high autonomy, and organization.

Preference factors

Knowledge in cutting and packing problems; Knowledge in combinatorial optimization.
