Work description
- employ natural language processing techniques to extract entities (e.g., medical conditions, treatments, procedures, demographics) from the text data; - evaluate the entity extraction methods; - develop entity linking algorithms that map the extracted entities to their corresponding concepts in the selected ontologies and terminologies; - evaluate the entity linking approaches; - write a scientific article about the work.
Academic Qualifications
Degree in informatic engineering or similar
Minimum profile required
- have Portuguese as a native language;- ability to read, write and speak in English.
Preference factors
- knowledge of NLP and machine learning.
