Work description
- identify parallel corpora of clinical data covering Portuguese and English; - identify Deep Learning methods effective in recognizing clinical entities in Portuguese and English; - extract clinical entities using previously identified methods and datasets; - evaluate the impact of using models created for other languages and the consequent translation of extracted clinical entities on the general recognition process; - write a scientific article about the work developed.
Academic Qualifications
Master in computer science or similar area
Minimum profile required
- have Portuguese as a native language;- ability to read, write and speak in English.
Preference factors
- experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP); - experience in information extraction; - knowledge of machine learning and data science methodologies; - experience in research.
