Computer Engineering, with a focus on computer vision applied to digestive endoscopy

Work description

The GATE project (GenerAlizable and Trustable computer assisted upper gastrointestinal Endoscopy) is a partnership between INESC TEC and IPO Porto and aims to research, develop and implement computer vision algorithms in a hospital environment to support the management of gastric cancer. More specifically, we aim to research the process of selecting images for manual annotation, exploring the concepts of uncertainty and diversity in active learning.

Academic Qualifications

BSc Degree in Informatics Engineering

Minimum profile required

BSc Degree in Informatics EngineeringEnrollment in a MSc course in Data Science.

Preference factors

Previous experience in active learning algorithms associated with the principles of uncertainty and diversity.
