Work description

- Advance the state of the art regarding compilation for non-conventional CPUs (potentially also co-processors) through use of multi-level representations during the compilation flow - Propose and evaluate a textual representation, and associated IR, to represent these computation capabilites, and evaluate its use versus analogous compilation flows - Develop the research skills through the application of the selected methods; - Apply the scientific method on the research process and a critical attitude on the obtained results.

Academic Qualifications

Enrolment in Licenciatura or MSc in in Electrical Engineering, or similar

Minimum profile required

- programming experience in C/C++ language

Preference factors

- experience in compilers (parsing, and IRs), and LLVM and/or MLIR ecosystem - basic knowledge of assembly generation - optionally, knowledge of Verilog and associated tools
