Work description

- Maintain a catalogue with new business models (BM) ideas under Renewable Energy Communities context. - Explore methodologies of evaluation of the different business models in line with the state of the art, such as Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) with well-defined output metrics (quantitative, qualitative, financial, and non-financial metrics). - Formulate and apply optimization algorithms to the different problems identified in each BM. - Produce a technical report with the findings and corresponding documentation.

Minimum profile required

- Basic Knowledge of programming in Python and/or optimization software- Knowledge of Business Model analysis tools such as BM Canvas- Ability to work autonomously or integrated in a team

Preference factors

- Experience in applying CBA methodologies. - Knowledge of optimization - Knowledge of Renewable Energy Communities (REC) operation - Knowledge of operation of REC main assets (Heat Pump, Storage, PV panels, EV chargers etc..) - Fluency in English (written and spoken). - Knowledge of Portuguese would be a plus.
