Work description
- Study of machine learning techniques for autonomous infrastructure inspection and maintenance systems: navigation, object recognition or manipulation. - Development of new concepts for autonomous aerial robots for intervention in structures. - or Development of navigation algorithms for planning and avoiding obstacles based on machine learning - or Development of algorithms for planning and controlling precision manipulation in unknown scenarios.
Academic Qualifications
Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering
Minimum profile required
- programming experience in C/C++ or Python;- knowledge of machine learning and computer vision (e.g., ROS2 and Pytorch);- Completed MSc dissertation in the area of ??mobile robotics;- Proven past involvement in research projects, funded by external institutions, in the area of ??inspection robotics.
Preference factors
- scientific publications in conferences. - proven experience in hardware development.
