WOKSHOP | AI4Lungs - AI-Based Personalised Care for Respiratory Disease using Multi-Modal Data in Patient Stratification

The goal of this workshop is to bring together AI researchers working on signal and image analysis for lung cancer, with an emphasis on algorithmic innovation, deep learning architectures, and multimodal learning frameworks. The workshop aims to foster discussion on state-of-the-art AI methodologies, scalable training strategies, and robust evaluation techniques, as well as their application to lung cancer–related data.

(AQUI DEVIA LEVAR UMA IMAGEM)

Research topics included in the workshop, but not limited to:

-Deep learning for lung cancer–related signal and image analysis

-AI methods for medical imaging data analysis (e.g., CT, PET, MRI, histopathology) in lung cancer

-AI-driven integration and learning from multi-omics data (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics)

-Machine learning on clinical and real-world data (electronic health records, reports, registries)

-AI for physiological signals and longitudinal patient monitoring data

-Multimodal learning and fusion of medical signals and imaging data

-Weakly supervised, semi-supervised, and self-supervised learning methods

-Representation learning for medical signals and images

-Domain adaptation and generalization in medical AI

-Learning strategies for limited, imbalanced, or partially labeled medical datasets

-Robustness, uncertainty estimation, and model calibration

-Continual learning strategies and efficient training

-Generative AI for synthetic medical data creation and data augmentation

Important Dates

Sept 27, 2026: Due date for full workshop papers submission

Dec 1-4, 2026: Workshops

_ CALL TO ACTION PARA INSCRIÇÕES _

Select "AI4Lungs - AI-Based Personalised Care for Respiratory Disease using Multi-Modal Data in Patient Stratification"

For the Accepted Papers

At least one author needs to register for each accepted paper, and one registration covers one paper; USD $400 is required for each additional paper.

All papers accepted for workshops will be included in the main Conference Proceedings published by the IEEE Computer Society Press. Thus, the submissions should not be published elsewhere or under review in another workshop, conference, or journal.

Page Limit: The 8-page limit for regular papers is a firm requirement and is inclusive of the reference list.

Paper transfer from the main conference

Papers rejected from the main conference could be resubmitted to the workshop. If the main conference paper authors select the workshop for further consideration, then their papers will be automatically transferred to the workshop after the main conference paper notification deadline if their papers are declined by the main conference.
