In this collaboration with the company SEGIN, within the project named PROD_AI, a predictive AI/ML solution applied to procurement and production management is being developed. The objective is to contribute to the development of an advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning solution through the creation of a predictive model applied to procurement and production management. The aim is to achieve an ML/AI solution designed to enhance the efficiency of technical management in industrial environments, while also optimizing processes related to suppliers and customers. The project faces several technological challenges, namely those related to the availability of high-quality data in terms of relevance and accuracy, algorithmic complexity, potential technical and mathematical difficulties, as well as the technical feasibility of implementation and the expected performance. With the implementation of the new procurement and production management solution, improvements are expected in the optimization of human and material resources, as well as increased intelligibility in data processing and management.
