Description

Multimodal Acknowledgeable multiSenSorial Immersive Virtual Enviroments

The purpose of this project is to create a laboratory that allows to research, on a fundamental level, how the perceptual problems affect the stimuli delivery to the five senses:  sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch (temperature, air currents, movement). In a way to measure the impact that each one of this senses has on the virtual environment experience, the evaluation will be conducted through evaluation objective forms such as: heart rate, breathing, skin conductance. It will also be used subjective metrics, for example surveys, which attest if the experience is immersive or not.
