About
I'm Susana Marques and I'm a research assistant @ HASLab. I completed my Integrated Master's degree in Informatics Engineering at the University of Minho in 2022 and currently, I am enrolled in the Doctoral Program in Informatics at the same university. Through this program, I am expanding my knowledge in the area of distributed systems, specifically in decentralized algorithms that can be applied to federated learning and exploring the benefits of these methods, particularly in terms of their performance and communication costs.
