My name is Maria Pedroto and I have ten years of professional experience in different business areas, namely: Mobile Services, Insurance, Transportation and Retail. At the moment I attend Doctoral Program of Informatics Engineering at Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto and I am a researcher at Centro Hospitalar do Porto where I apply my knowledge of Machine Learning and Data Mining in the Medical Sciences field.

I love everything related with the field, my it be data modeling, implementing algorithms or applying different methodologies to solve complex problems. My main interests are related with the application of Data Mining and Machine Learning techniques to solve business problems.
