About
As a current MSc student in Informatics Engineering at UMinho, I specialize in Intelligent Systems and Application Engineering, where I am researching scalable software architectures for AI-driven solutions.
Professionally, I recently stepped away from my role as a Machine Learning Engineer at Dotmoovs, where I focused on building end-to-end Machine Learning pipelines, from deploying high-performance inference models on the cloud to optimizing data workflows in health and human physical activity analytics. The fast-paced startup environment was ideal for testing the limits of my creativity and technical skills, allowing me to innovate under tight constraints. However, I’ve chosen to transition to academia to pursue a PhD, where I aim to use my skills to explore and expand the boundaries of human knowledge in Zero-Shot Learning, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning.
