My research focuses on Semantics, with a particular emphasis on the temporal annotation of clinical narratives and the annotation of discourse relations. I aim to contribute to the improvement of diagnostic and therapeutic methods through temporal reasoning systems and the generation of synthetic clinical data using large language models (LLMs).I am a PhD student in Linguistics at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Porto, and hold a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.Currently, I am a research fellow in the CitiLink project at INESC TEC (citilink.inesctec.pt). I am a member of the NLP&IR Research Group (nlp.inesctec.pt) and of the Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support (LIAAD) (inesctec.pt).
