Work description
- Exploration of modern, modular I/O libraries - Preliminary evaluation of the libraries on hardware (e.g., NVMe SSDs) and modern infrastructures (e.g., HPC) - Design and implementation of new storage features that leverage these libraries - Experimental evaluation of the proposed features
Academic Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
Minimum profile required
- Knowledge of operating systems and data storage systems (i.e., file systems and/or block devices)- Experience in developing data storage features and optimizations for file systems and/or block devices- Knowledge of the C programming language- Knowledge on storage systems benchmarking
Preference factors
- Experience with using HPC systems
