Work description
Implementation of a tool that allows realistic injection of data durability faults in storage systems. Evaluation of the tool with deterministic and automatic reproduction of problems already identified in real use cases, as well as the exploration of similar errors in other data-centric applications.
Academic Qualifications
MSc Degree in Informatics Engineering.
Minimum profile required
- Solid knowledge on storage systems;- Experience on building tools for storage fault injection;- Solid knowledge on data durability faults.
Preference factors
- Experience with the C or C++ programming language; - Experience on system's benchmarking.
